Huddle lets a team send ideas to its owner without putting a name on them. This policy explains what we collect, what we deliberately do not, and who can see it. It is written to be read.
Huddle is operated from Florida, USA ("Huddle", "we"). You can reach us at support@huddleideas.com.
This policy covers two groups of people. Account holders are business owners and the admins they invite. Senders are employees who submit ideas by scanning a QR code or opening a team link.
Very little, on purpose.
We do not ask senders for a name, email address or account. We do not store IP addresses, device identifiers or the time of day with an idea, only the date. The code to look up a reply is kept on the sender’s own phone, not on our servers.
Our hosting and network providers handle IP addresses briefly to deliver pages and block attacks, under their own policies. We do not receive those addresses with ideas, and we do not link them to anything a sender wrote.
Anonymity depends partly on what people write. We do not attach a name to an idea, but a sender who includes names, shifts, locations or other identifying details, or who writes on a very small team, may be recognizable to the reader. We encourage senders to leave identifying details out, and we forbid account holders from trying to find out who sent an idea (see our Terms of Use).
We do not sell personal information. We do not use ideas for advertising. We do not use idea text to train AI models.
The account holder and the admins they add can read ideas, within the permissions the owner sets. Nothing appears on the Idea Board unless the account holder writes and posts it. Ideas marked Owner only are never posted.
Huddle staff cannot read ideas. Our support tools show account details, plan and billing status, settings and counts, never what employees wrote. Each time staff open an account, that is logged, and the owner can see the dates under Account → Billing → Huddle support access. We may look at ideas only if the owner invites us as an admin to help, to investigate abuse, or when the law requires it. Because we do not store sender names or IP addresses with ideas, we could not provide them even if asked.
We use a small number of service providers, who process information only to provide their service to us:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people from harm, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information.
Information is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed. Each business’s data is separated from every other business’s by database rules, and accounts are protected by a password, with an emailed code to confirm new accounts and password resets. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and sign out on shared computers.
Account holders can edit their information, download all of their ideas, and delete their account from the Account page, and can ask us to correct or delete other information we hold about them. Senders have no account, so there is nothing to look up or delete about them. Contact us if you have questions or requests.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores a sign-in session so you stay signed in (you can turn this off at sign-in), and a sender’s phone may store their reply code and language choice. This stays on the device.
Huddle is for workplaces and is not directed to children under 13. Account holders must be at least 18.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect, and update the date at the top.
Use the contact form on our homepage, or email support@huddleideas.com. Customers can also use the Help button inside Huddle. We reply within 2 business days, Monday to Friday.
